The Fripp Island Resort Activities Center has many specialized programs for groups of all sizes. Our staff will help you find what best suits your groups needs. Energize your team toward problem solving and increased productivity with games like:
Team Building
Easy Knot - Large team ties an overhand knot at the secured end of a long rope without touching the secured end.
Giant Texas Lizard Egg - Move a large heavy ball across the floor and into a basket using ropes.
Team Blowgun - Requires the use of PVC pipes, PVC fittings, a dart (not pointed) and a hula-hoop.
Portable Zig Zag - Team will use zig-zag boards to travel from point A to point B on the spots without touching the ground.
Noodle Up - Players construct a vertical "pipe" structure as his as their constraints allow.
Administrative Antics
Give us 15 minutes to get your group started or 15 minutes to relax during meeting breaks.
Limerick - To serve as an entertaining method of getting acquainted in a social or business setting.
Plastic Wrap - A group moves from one side of a room to another as fast as they can as a unit wrapped by plastic wrap. Icebreaker gets people close, sets tone for creative problem solving, fun!
Sorry Sucker - move a table tennis ball person to person by sucking the ball to the end of a tube. The activity is a fun icebreaker.
OTG Games (Other Than Golf Games)
Bring your sense of humor to OTG. Choose from a list of "Wacky Olympic" style events. Includes refreshments and prizes. Events such as:
Beach Olympics, Remote Control Boats, Glow Golf, Pool Putt, Soft Climbing Tower and Scavenger Hunts - Go on a trip through the resort with a photo treasure hunt - builds group cooperation.
Outdoor Adventures
Join one of our naturalists and explore Fripp Island's natural wonders. Fripp Island Resort's very own Nature Center and has grown to incorporate several staff naturalists with backgrounds in biology, ecotourism, and environmental studies. In Fripp Island's nature center, which is located in the Activity Center, there are many exhibits of reptiles and other displays of things that can be found on the island.
The staff naturalists offer programs for all ages and levels. Our many programs allow you to enjoy the barrier island ecosystem in several new ways. You can cruise through the marsh creeks in our kayaks or canoes led by a naturalist, or you can take a walk down our beach. No matter what your preference is Fripp Island has nature programs to suit you.
Children's Programs
Camp Fripp is designed for children ages 3-12 years old; our program offers a fun filled day with crafts, nature trips, beach trips, pool games, and much more.
